The reception began with introductions. Once the couple’s parents were introduced, the DJ then introduced the bridesmaids and groomsmen, which was followed by the entrance of the bride and groom. Once introduced, the new couple had their first dance as husband and wife. Before everyone ate dinner, a minister friend of the couple gave a pre-dinner prayer. After dinner, the best man and the maid of honor each toasted the new couple. Immediately after the toasts, the bride and groom thanked their wedding guests for attending. The couple then cut both the bride’s wedding cake and the groom’s wedding cake and fed each other from each wedding cake. After a few hours of an open dance floor, the bride threw her bouquet.
